This workshop provides participants with the insight required to establish a structured and rigorous approach to manage emerging risks, and to re-integrate this analysis into fundamental risk management practices and products such as risk registers and risk appetite statements.

This workshop provide you with insights about the value and science behind these concepts. Steve and Ben personally produced most of the research that this course uses, so they speak intimately to this, and can provide all the insight you need to successfully identify the benefits for your organisation.
During the course you will explore an emerging risk assessment with fellow course participants. The course is fully online over 3-hours and is size-limited to maximize interactions with the teaching team.
The learning outcomes of the course are as follows:
1. Understand the fundamentals and application of ISO31050:2023
2. Apply key concepts within the standard to emerging risk
3. Understand how the outputs of ISO31050 can be integrated into your current risk management practices.
4. Establish where your organisation is on the maturity journey with respect to emerging risks and how to take the next step.
